There are at least two artists with that name: 1. Grand Rapids is the band of Ben King, formerly of Goldenhorse. King was born and lives in New Zealand and is a singer, producer, cook and songwriter. Other band members are Andrew Keoghan, Gareth Thomas and Milan Nobilo. Grand Rapids’ album Faintheartedness was released in April 2011. King works closely with artist Adam Bryce and filmmaker Yasmine Bryce, their first collaboration being a video for the song Singing Showers Golden Lights.
